1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your device and remember information about your visit.
We also use similar technologies, which this policy calls "cookies" for simplicity:
- Local and session storage: data stored in your browser to keep the app responsive and remember settings.
- Pixels and tags: small pieces of code that tell us or our partners when a page or ad has been viewed.
- SDKs: code in our mobile apps that provides analytics, advertising or crash reporting.
- Device identifiers: such as mobile advertising IDs, used where you allow it.
Cookies set by Market Kings are first-party cookies. Cookies set by our partners, such as Google, are third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
2. Our approach to consent
Under UK and EU law (including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and GDPR), we need your consent for any cookie that is not strictly necessary.
- When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept all, reject all or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- Only strictly necessary cookies load until you choose. Analytics and advertising cookies are blocked by default.
- We use Google Consent Mode, which tells Google services whether you have consented. If you have not, Google tags do not set analytics or advertising cookies.
- We honour Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of advertising cookies and sharing.
- You can change your choices at any time through Cookie Settings in the site footer or in your account settings. Your choices are stored for 12 months, after which we will ask again.
3. Categories of cookies we use

5. Google services
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics, with IP data minimised, to understand how the Platform is used.
Google processes this data on our behalf. Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out across all websites with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google AdSense. Open Arena ads are served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
Where you are in the UK, EEA or Switzerland, Google AdSense will show personalised ads only if you have consented. Otherwise, you may see non-personalised ads based on the page content and general location.
6. Mobile apps
Our apps may use SDKs and your device's advertising identifier. You can reset or limit ad tracking in your device settings (on iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; on Android: Settings > Google > Ads). On iOS, we will ask your permission before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites.
7. Managing cookies in your browser
In addition to our Cookie Settings, most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you logging in and taking part in Events. Browser guidance:

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
