Three ways to be rewarded
XP. Earned from your finishing position in Battles and Missions and from being an active trader. XP powers your rank and can be spent in the Crown Store or used to enter XP-entry Battles. Crown Club members earn XP at 3.5x in Open Arena events.
Crown Store rewards. Real items, priced in XP. Prices are fixed and shown before you redeem.
Cash bonuses. Selected Battles and Missions carry a cash bonus for top finishers. Every cash bonus is clearly marked on the event before you join, along with its amount and how many places it pays.
XP and Crown Store items have no cash value. XP cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged for money or withdrawn.
How cash bonuses work
- Clearly posted, up front. The bonus amount, number of winners and payout format are shown on every eligible event before it starts.
- Sized by difficulty. Harder Battles and Missions carry bigger bonuses.
- Open Arena and Crown Club. Open Arena events can include cash bonuses at no cost to enter. Crown Club events carry larger bonuses.
- Limited and time-bound. Each event has a set number of bonuses. Some Mission bonuses are first-come — for example, the first trader to pass a Mission that week — and expire once claimed or when the window closes.
XP payout formats
Every Battle's XP prize pool uses one of seven split formats, shown on the event card before you enter. XP is paid to finishers based on final standings.
| Format | Who gets paid | Split |
|---|---|---|
| Monarchy | Winner only | 100% to 1st place |
| Brotherhood | Top 3 | 50% / 30% / 20% |
| Gauntlet | Top 5 | Equal split |
| King's Court | Top 10 | Equal split |
| Vanguard | Top 5% of the field | Equal split |
| Bounty Hunt | Top 10% of the field | Equal split |
| Survivor | Top 20% of the field | Equal split |
Where a percentage doesn't give a whole number of places, we round down, to a minimum of one winner.
Cash bonus payout formats
Cash bonuses follow their own rules — they're not paid from final standings like XP.
- First to complete. Cash bonuses reward speed and execution, not just rank. The bonus pays the first traders to complete the objective — typically the first three to finish the Mission and post a passing result. Once those places are claimed, the bonus is closed.
- Time sensitive. The window opens the moment the event starts and stays open only until the places fill or the window closes — whichever comes first. A bonus can disappear in minutes on a popular event, so entering early matters.
- Posted on the event. Every cash event states its bonus amount, how many places it pays and the format (first-to-complete or top-finisher) before you join — nothing is added after the fact.
- Verified before paid. A claimed bonus only becomes a payout after the usual checks below — results review, fair-play check and identity verification. If a claimed place is disqualified, it rolls to the next trader who completes the objective within the window.
Ties
If two or more traders finish level, the tie is broken by final account equity, then the earliest time the final result was reached. If a tie still can't be separated, the affected share is split equally.
Who can receive a cash bonus
To receive a cash bonus you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher
- Live in a territory where Market Kings cash bonuses are permitted — residents of excluded territories can play for XP but aren't eligible for cash
- Hold an account in good standing that complies with our Anti-Cheat Policy and Terms of Service
- Pass identity verification (KYC) before your first payout
- Receive the payout in your own name, to an account you own
Employees, contractors and shareholders of TFX Services Ltd, and their immediate households, are not eligible for cash bonuses.
From leaderboard to payout
01Event ends. Final standings are posted.
02Verification. Results are reviewed for up to 72 hours. Top finishers' trade histories are checked for fair play.
03Identity check. First-time winners complete KYC. Returning winners may be asked to reconfirm details.
04Payout. Verified bonuses are sent through our payment partner, usually within 5–10 business days of verification.
Cash bonuses are paid in USD via supported payout methods. Any fees charged by your bank or wallet provider are your responsibility.
Unclaimed bonuses
If you don't complete verification within 30 days of being notified, the bonus is forfeited and may be returned to the rewards pool.
Taxes
You're responsible for reporting and paying any tax due on rewards you receive. Where the law requires, we may collect tax information or withhold amounts before paying out.
Our right to withhold
We may delay, withhold or reclaim a reward if results are under review, if a price or platform error affected the outcome, if we suspect a breach of our rules, or if verification fails. We'll always tell you why.
Where the money comes from
Cash bonuses are funded by Market Kings from subscription and advertising revenue. They are never funded by other players' losses, and no player's reward comes out of another player's pocket.
